** Swipe up or tap the “Apps” icon, usually located on the bottom of the home screen, to access all installed apps. If you find the missing app there, simply tap and hold the app icon, then drag it to your home screen.
** At the top of the App Drawer or on the home screen, use the search bar to type the app name. If the app shows up, hold and drag it to place it back on the home screen.
** If an app was removed, but you were using a widget for it, press and hold a blank area on the home screen, select “Widgets,” find the app widget, and drag it back to your home screen.
** Sometimes a simple restart can solve display glitches that cause disappearing apps. Hold the power button and select “Restart.”
** Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > See all apps
. If the app is listed but says "Disabled," tap on it and select "Enable."
** If all else fails, uninstall and then reinstall the app from the Google Play Store.
To prevent this issue from happening again, make sure not to accidentally delete or move apps when reorganizing your screens. Locking the home screen layout might be an option available in some device settings.
